Will I be charged for recycling my battery?
No. The cost of recycling and transportation is covered by the vehicle manufacturers under the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations. This service is provided free of charge to the current holder of the battery.
Will EMR collect my battery?
Yes. We can arrange secure transportation from your location to our specialist EV Battery Centre using fully approved battery logistics providers. We will ensure all required documentation, permits, and regulatory approvals are in place prior to collection. If the battery is damaged, we may require additional specialist packaging or transport solutions to ensure it is moved safely and compliantly.
What happens after collection?
Your Honda battery will be safely processed by our specialist team. Materials will be recovered and recycled responsibly in accordance with all relevant environmental regulations, supporting the circular economy and reducing waste.
How quickly will I hear from you?
Once you have submitted your enquiry, a member of our team will contact you within one working day to confirm the details and provide an update on your request. We will keep you informed at every stage of the collection process.
What if I have batteries from other vehicle manufacturers?
No problem. While this service is designed specifically for Honda batteries, EMR can also support the collection, treatment, and recycling of batteries from a wide range of other vehicle manufacturer.
